I first tried yoga in 2014 after looking for a less impactful way to move.
I was a big runner, and after years of pounding the pavements I was developing "crunchy knees".
I was instantly hooked on hot yoga and embarked on a Yoga Alliance Professionals accredited training course at the start of 2016. I graduated that summer, and after teaching once a week at a hot yoga studio in Milton Keynes for around 6 months, I set up my own village hall class.
I started teaching yoga full time in 2018.
Balancing my successful career in logistics became increasingly difficult and I found myself drawn more and more to teaching yoga.
I made the decision to walk away from my logistics career in May 2018 and have never looked back. I miss having a fancy company car but really, that's the only thing!

I now teach classes online and in person in our local Northumberland community; and I love it. I also collaborate with local yoga studios offering different sessions such as hot yoga and sound baths.

I host morning, day, weekend and week retreats in the UK and abroad and publish my own podcast where I talk to yogis, teachers and studio owners about their lives on and off the mat.

I have also designed a small range of yoga inspired, organic cotton tops, available to buy online.
